DAYSPRING CHURCH IS HIRING: FULL-TIME KIDS PASTOR

During January and February, we humbly ask the people of Dayspring to join us in prayer and fasting as we seek the Lord’s will for the future of our growing campus. We ask God for discernment and affirmation of His leading if we expand our building to accommodate Sunday worship gatherings and Kid's Ministry classrooms. Thank you for considering partnering with us in prayer.

Prayer Prompts from the Elders/Pastors of Dayspring:

  • Pray for clear vision and direction for the future health of our church and against the schemes of the devil.
  • Pray for our elders and leadership team in discerning the start of a capital campaign for a building expansion.
  • Pray for the multiplication of disciples regardless of the size of our building.
  • Pray we would grow in being the church outside the walls of our building through the launch of community groups.
  • Pray for revival and salvation in our community as we glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Prayer Prompts from Scripture:

  • Matthew 6:9-13 (The Lord’s Prayer)
“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
  • Psalm 127:1
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
  • Matthew 9:37-38
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
  • Matthew 18:16
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
  • Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
  • Luke 14:28
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
  • John 16:23-24
In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
  • Colossians 4:2-4
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.
  • Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always,  pray continually [without ceasing] , give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
  •  1 John 5:14-15
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
