Our Mission

Our Mission
Go and make disciples.
We exist to GATHER in Christ-exalting worship and SCATTER in Spirit-empowered, Gospel-Driven disciple-making all for the glory of God.

Core Value's
The following values shape who we are and who we are called to be as a local church representing the kingdom of God on earth.
Christ-centered
Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and everything we do flows from Him. He is the Builder and Shepherd of the Church and we are the people of His pasture. We exalt Him in exuberant worship as as King and follow Him as Lord. (Col. 1:15-20, Eph. 4:1-8, Hebrews 1:1-3)
BIble-BASED
God's Word is the final authority in all that we say and do. Our theological convictions and ministry methods are rooted in Scripture and not in culture. Our Sunday preaching is expositional (I.e. exposing the truth of God's Word) and our teaching curriculum for kids, students, and adults is directly from Scripture. God has communicated to us through His Word all we need for salvation, fullness of life, and godliness.
(2 Tim. 2:15, 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
(2 Tim. 2:15, 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
SPIRIT-EMPOWERED
Christ gave the Church power through the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit to be witnesses in all the earth. The Holy Spirit unties us in prayer, inhabits our praises, and fuels us in our mission to make disciples. Without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit we would be unable to fulfill the Great Commission
(Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:13-14; Gal. 5:16-25; Eph. 4:4, 6:18)
(Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:13-14; Gal. 5:16-25; Eph. 4:4, 6:18)
GOSPEL-DRIVEN
We are driven by all that Jesus has done for us. The message of the Gospel is the means by which people are saved and the substance by which biblical community is formed and maintained. We are not driven by the trends of our day but by the timeless message of the Gospel.
(Acts 2:42-47; Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 15:1-5; Col. 1:3-6)
(Acts 2:42-47; Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 15:1-5; Col. 1:3-6)
MISSION-MINDED
We are called to gather in a Christ-Exalting worship but also scatter in disciple making, knowing there are people all around us (locally and globally) in need of salvation. We have been commissioned by Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations; to baptize them and teach them to obey all He commanded. We have been saved and placed into a community of believers for the community where we live, work, learn, and play.
