GO & MAKE DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES.

MAUNDY THURSDAY

6:00PM & 7:30PM

Maundy Thursday is celebrated the Thursday before Easter to remember the Last Supper. At the Last Supper, Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper, he washed the disciples’ feet, and he gave them the new commandment, “Love one another as I have loved you.” The word maundy comes from mandatum which means command or commandment. After supper, they went to the garden to pray where the arrest happened, and trials continued late into the night and the following morning. After the questioning, Jesus was crucified on Friday afternoon, what we know as Good Friday. The disciples were scared, so they scattered to their homes that Friday.
Dayspring Kids will be open for Infants to Pre-K. We highly encourage kids older than infant- prek to join us for these gatherings.

CAN'T MAKE IT IN PERSON?

If you’re unable to attend our Maundy Thursday gathering in person, we invite you to still participate from home. Take time to listen to the message, worship together, and create a meaningful moment with your family or loved ones. You might share communion using bread and juice, or practice a simple foot-washing element as a reminder of Christ’s humility and love. As you do, encourage one another, call each other higher, and commit to serving one another just as Jesus served His disciples.
