Rooted is your onramp into a new Life Group, and the starting line for a life-changing discipleship journey. This 10-week small group experience is for people in every stage of life, wherever they are in their walk with Christ. Rooted isn't simply a bible study or a book. It is a community experience, where people practice 7 rhythms essential to a healthy relationship with Jesus. Individuals establish firm roots in the Truth of God's Word through personal study and then come together to discuss what they're learning in a space where they are safe and known.

When you register for Rooted, you will be placed in a Life Group of 10-12 others, beginning March 27! Every week, you'll gather with these new friends to grow together in God's Word, discuss what He is teaching you, hear and share life stories, pray together, serve our community together, and more! When Rooted ends on June 1, we'll guide you through the steps to continue meeting as an ongoing Life Group.

What is Rooted?
Rooted is a 10-week discipleship program and a catalyst for life-change, and it's how we start new Life Groups. It provokes questions and conversations and group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.
Where and when will my Rooted group meet?
All of our Rooted groups meet at the Dayspring campus, and most of our Rooted groups will meet on Monday evenings in the Spring Session.
What is the difference between Rooted and Life Groups?
Rooted is the on-ramp to Life Groups. Your Rooted group at the end of the 10 weeks becomes your Life Group.
How do I register and what does it cost?
Registration is easy! Once registration is open for the upcoming session, click the REGISTER FOR ROOTED button, and follow the instructions from there. The cost is $35 per person to go through the course, which includes all sessions, your workbook, and other materials, and the celebration at the end of the 10 weeks. This breaks down to just $3.50 a week! Please note that childcare is available on Monday evening at an additional charge.
What if I cannot make all ten weeks?
We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.
Are there scholarships available?
We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted registration fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to provide scholarships. Contact Abby at abbyc@dayspringchurch.com to request a scholarship.
Is childcare available?
Childcare is available on Sunday evenings only for infant through 5th grade for an additional $50/child. When you register, you can select each child that you would like to have included in the childcare. The $50/child covers all 10 weeks of childcare for that child. That equates to just about $2.50/hour for each child. There are no refunds for any weeks a child misses Rooted.
How will my Rooted group be chosen?
Our Rooted team will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10-12 people. We look at a variety of things that we believe help people fit well in settings like this. When we can, we sometimes group by age, marital status, and even life stage. We may also form groups of married couples, singles, women, men, and young adults. Ultimately it depends on the demographic of those who registered. No matter what, we will do our best at creating groups which we think will provide the best experience for all people who attend. While we do our best to honor requests when possible, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all friend or leaders requests.
When will I get my book?
At the week one kick-off event! You will receive the necessary information about kick-off in your confirmation email.
What if I cannot make it to week one?
If you miss Week One, your leader will be in contact with you and you can still join your group. For the best Rooted experience, we recommend not missing more than two weeks. If your schedule requires you to miss more than two, feel free to jump into the next Rooted session.
What if registration is closed?
Online registration closes 24-48 hours before the week one kick-off. Walk-up registration is still available the night of the kick-off.
