We are excited to announce Nick Stanton as the next Lead Pastor of Dayspring Church. The congregational vote of affirmation came back with 100% approval. We are looking forward to having the Stanton’s in our community! Nick’s first day at Dayspring will be on Monday, March 27. We are grateful that Pastor Steve has agreed to stay on staff during a 3 month transition period and you will see both Pastor’s Steve and Nick on the stage together over these next few months. Nick’s first message at Dayspring will be on Sunday, April 23. Please join us as we thank God for answering prayer, and let’s continue to pray about all that God has ahead.

Join us on Sunday, March 12th, for a special announcement in both worship gatherings about the lead pastor transition. You'll hear more about the candidate the elder board is recommending for this position. The lead candidate and his family will also be at Dayspring on Sunday, March 19th; and you will have the opportunity to meet him and his family personally.
Per Dayspring's bylaws, all members will have the opportunity to cast their vote of affirmation.
Section 5.1 Calling a New Lead Pastor. In conformity with the requirements of the Constitution of the Missionary Church, Incorporated, the Elder Board shall establish a process for the selection of a Lead Pastor, who shall only be selected upon a unanimous vote by all current Elder Board members, and ratified by membership vote (75%)
Each member is encouraged to vote between Sunday, March 12th through Sunday, March 19th. Voting will occur in the Dayspring lobby after each worship gathering, and throughout the week during office hours: Monday through Thursday, 9:00am - 4:00pm. If you cannot be present to vote during these times, please call the church office to make arrangements.

We are excited to announce that a formal offer has been extended and accepted! According to Dayspring's bylaws for a new lead pastor, the elders must unanimously vote in favor of that candidate.
On March 12, we will introduce this candidate and his family to you and all Dayspring members will have an opportunity to confirm this decision for our future. We can't wait for you to meet him and his family and look forward to what God has in store for Dayspring Church.

We are receiving many resumes for the position of lead pastor and are continuing to do our best to go through them. Please continue to be in prayer for our leadership team as they begin to talk with some of
the potential candidates.
